What Is The Weather Like In May in Northern Italy?

This is a News post about the weather in Northern Italy today. You asked me about it - here are some photos.

I have lived in Northern Italy for 5 years and enjoy hiking in the mountains. The climate here is quite distinct from the southern regions, as it is not as hot. One of my favorite activities is visiting the fascinating flower meadows during spring. And there are so many varieties of flowers you can find here. Often you can't even imagine that some species are also found in wild nature and are even better than cultivated ones.

We have faced a challenge in the past 2 years due to the drought. Therefore, the heavy rains in the last month have brought immense joy to many people. Not for excursion lovers: heavy rainfall leads to swollen rivers and the risk of landslides. I tell you the truth: there is nothing pleasant about sliding down all the stones. Especially if you come out wet and dirty from this unpleasant “adventure” and you are far away in the woods.
