The night in Piazza San Marco in Venice begins. Did it make sense to have this experience?
It was already late afternoon and given the season, I had a maximum of an hour before it became night. I have never visited Venice in the low seasons and could not even imagine what awaits me. But since I wanted to spend the night walking around the city and taking photos, I had a warm and large scarf with me. Nothing more.
I don't remember if I told you that it takes an hour to walk from the station to Piazza San Marco. So, having arrived at 4 pm and with all the crowds on the streets, I was in the square no earlier than 5:30 pm. The flight was scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, the promised flight of the Lion (I don't remember who it was supposed to be exactly) was not there. There wasn't even any kind of equipment to organize it. Sad. But what can you do?
Piazza San Marco is a big medieval town internal square with a relatively large pass to the lagoon. There are many tourist attractions to see and some museums (that were still open at that time). I didn't intend to visit the museums, but I asked about the prices.
After that, I would have lost the desire to visit them anyway.=>>>
